The Luxonis OAK-D S2 Camera (Fixed Focus) is the series 2 of the OAK-D. The main difference is that OAK-D S2 has a smaller enclosure and is therefore lighter. OAK-D S2 also doesn’t have a barrel jack for supplying power, so it only has a USB-C connector for both power and communication.

The Luxonis OAK-D S2 is an AI Edge vision system driven by Movidius Myriad X VPU. The system is powered over a USB Type-C. OAK-D S2 has three onboard cameras which implement stereo and RGB vision, piped directly into the DepthAI Myriad X VPU for depth and AI processing. The data is then output to a host via USB 3.1 Gen1

Fixed-Focus is recommended for heavy-vibration applications (e.g., drones, lawnmowers, bikes without suspension, etc). It can clearly see objects beyond 50 cm, working between 50 cm and infinity.
